PLANTATION MANAGER'S BEACH HOUSE

Built in 1947 from a recycled redwood railroad bridge, the gracious Plantation Manager's Beach House is reminiscent of Hawai'i's plantation days.  Its 10 foot ceilings, gracious dining room and outdoor lanai capture the feel of Hawai'i in the early part of the century.  In front of the home are three white sand beaches. The sheltered lagoon offers a safe playground for children to learn to swim and snorkel. The large front yard and private promontory provide a perfect site, often in conjunction with the Seaside Zen Cottage, for weddings, reunions, family gatherings and retreats.

"Ai no i kalo mo'a"  One can eat cooked taro.

The work is done; be at ease and enjoy yourself.
