“This house exceeded our expectations. It is simple but has all the necessary amenities – including fans and windows that open on all side. Having the public beach right out the back door was great, every morning we would check the tide pools for turtles and eels, and snorkel in the afternoon. The house is central to Kona attractions and beaches, as well as being a reasonable drive away from Volcano Nat’l Park and the Waikaloa area.”

"(We) have been to Kona a number of times, but our stay at the Seaside Zen Cottage made it our best trip. Once the gates closed behind us, we felt like we were in old traditional Hawaii. It was so relaxing and enjoyable, we did not want to leave the cottage and beautiful lanai facing the ocean. Cecilia greeted us and made us feel very welcome, and had a knack for being around only when we needed her, and Valerie was very easy to work with for making arrangements and booking the cottage. We feel fortunate the owners have made their property available for us to rent. With the risk of making it difficult to book for the future I would highly recommend the Seaside Zen Cottage to anyone who asks. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Kona."
