About the House
We believe there is no experience like that of authentic Hawaii. We are happy to be able to share our home with you, your families, and your friends. We want to share the amenities and uniqueness of the Robertson Estate.

Lanai
The outdoor lanai provides extraordinary views of the ocean, and it has always been the perfect spot for morning coffee, evening cocktails, and anytime comfort to settle down with a good book. In winter, it is common to see Humpback Wales and Spinner Dolphins playing off the point.

Living Room
The living room is graciously set up to allow friends and family to sit comfortably. Watercolor Landscapes painted by William & his friends hang on the walls. The library is stacked with books of all kinds, from philosophy to pulp fiction. We have limited the TV to the living room. To stay connected the house has wifi and a printer.

Dining Room & Kitchen
The home was built in an era when entertaining was a part of daily life. The dining room accommodates guests up to 12 people. The working kitchen is a joy to cook in. We make sure to have a number of appliances ready, including coffee maker, grinder, blender, toaster oven, sliced toast toaster, juicer, crock pot, pots, pans, knives, glasses, and cutlery. For those that prefer to grill, there is a large, six burner Bar-B-Que located right outside of the kitchen.

Library Bedroom
The light filled library bedroom features stunning views of the point. It has a king bed, dresser, and walk in closet. The library bathroom, located nearby, has a bathtub & shower combination. The fixtures are from Restoration Hardware.

Veranda
One of the unique historic features of the house is the upper veranda. To reach the back bedrooms, you exit the library and walk along the veranda, taking in the sweeping view. This design allows both bedrooms to have large open windows on both sides that capture the breeze and cool the rooms.

Veranda Bedroom
The veranda bedroom, named for the two verandas on either side, is the largest bedroom in the house. It has a vanity, dressr, walk in closet, and a cozy reading chair that overlooks the ocean.

Twin Bedroom
The adorable win bedroom gazes out onto the ocean. The beds have headboards hewn from a local tree, and a walk in closet.

Jack & Jill Bathroom
The back bathroom has a walk in shower.

Air Conditioning
The Robertson Estate was built in an era before modern air conditioning, a practice that continues to this day. To keep the house cool, the house was built in accordance with the classic Hawaiian mauka – makai (mountain – ocean) fashion, one room wide with 10 foot high ceilings The clever design captures the sea breeze during the day and the mountain air at night, keeping the house comfortable all year round. There's no clammy air conditioning to shift the body temperatures. You can taste the Hawaiian salt in the air and take in the scent of the flowers from the living room.

Laundry Room
The laundry room has two washers and two dryers, prep sink, along with a guest bathroom, with walk in shower.

Outdoor
The beach is a daily activity for many of our guests. We stock plenty of beach towels, as well as a chest of rotating beach toys.
